About Charlene

Charlene is the Founder and Creative Director of CSPR. Prior to starting her own company to bring excellence to area events, Charlene was selected Best Local Pitchman, by Folio Magazine and Most Crush-Worthy Celebrity by the Florida Times Union. She is also an Emmy nominated writer and received numerous awards for her contribution to broadcasting, including several “Excellence in Media,” Axiem Awards, a “Suncoast Regional Emmy Nomination,” an “Outstanding Achievement in Broadcasting” award for a Feature-Series, “The Harold A. Maio Journalism Award” for individual achievement in the coverage of mental health issues. Charlene has received numerous awards from the Associated Press including one for Community Service, a Law Enforcement Citizenship Award and she has been Nationally Recognized with The Wilbur Award, The Gabriel Award, and a Sigma Delta Chi Award.

As a Mistress of Ceremony and live event specialist, Charlene is often asked to host, script and produce events and shows. This has opened doors for multiple television appearances (Jacksonville’s First Coast News, First Coast Living, The Chat, WJXT, Fox 30 News, Passport to New Homes, Golf Channel, XM Radio, KUSI San Diego, Palm Beach affiliates FOX, WPBF and WPTV) as well as being the spokesperson for numerous organizations.

When Charlene is the keynote speaker, she speaks from the heart. She’s not just a television broadcaster turned "speaker." Charlene is a business owner, who has adapted to multiple career changes and created new opportunities for herself and others. Charlene started at the bottom of the media business, lugged her own camera gear, covered everything from the Oklahoma City bombing, the decade long search for missing Navy Pilot Scott Speicher and the plight of Foster Children that inspired a community wide effort to create lasting change. Charlene has also experienced life in corporate America; she led the PGA TOUR’s premiere tournament in creating a robust and durable identity for its charitable efforts and created an initiative across the country for Executive Women to be inspired by their peers. Charlene “Get’s It” and it relates well to both event planners and audience members.
